Nitish hits Malls, samples Pizzas
'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' maybe the name of the Hrithik Roshan - Katrina Kaif starrer, but on Sunday afternoon Nitish Kumar dug into fun food as if there was no tomorrow.
With ministers and aides in wing, Kumar visited a newly opened restaurant in the city and tasted a range of its offerings, from Italian Pizza to butter milk. The venue was ''Cream Centre' at P M Mall in the Patliputra Locality.
The chief minister along with minsters Vijay Kumar Chowdhary , Shyam Rajak, Bhim Singh, Nitish Mishra and Sunil Kumar Pintu, Rajya Sabha MP RCP Singh and aides reached the mall at 12.35 pm and spend more than 90 minutes there. During the period he also enjoyed an escalator ride.
The Sunday treat started with vegetable sizzlers, followed by garlic bread with soup, corn cutlet, paneer preparations, chole bhature, Italian pizza and buttermilk. These were followed with hot chocolate brownie - an ice cream that has caught the fancy of Patnaites.
Kumar, who is fond of south Indian dishes, particularly dosas opted for a change, after some of the ministers spoke highly about this vegetarian restaurant during the Saturday cabinet meeting, informed one of the minsters accompanying him.
"The chief minster took bites from every item and relished the food." said another minister. While the CM was satisfied with the food, his minsters wanted to freak out a little more. Three of them - Nitish Kumar, Shyam Rajak and Sunil Pintu - went ahead to enjoy Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara at the Cinepolis multiplex at the Mall. "It was full Sunday masti for us. It was an enjoyable movie said Mishra, the youngest of the lot.
But who paid for the Sunday treat? "No comments and don''t embarrass us," said a minister.
