1958 – The Beginning
Cream Centre was founded by the visionary Mr. Ramesh Chona. What began as a humble eatery soon became a destination for authentic vegetarian food, built on the philosophy of taste, quality, and innovation. Having fled from Karachi during the Partition, Mr. Chona was exploring business opportunities in India when he noticed a gap, Mumbai lacked authentic Punjabi food. Inspired by this, he conceptualised Cream Centre. The famous Channa Bhatura, a treasured family recipe, was added to the menu and became an instant hit.
